 on Thursday, November 16th at 2:40 in the Conference Room.  All students planning to take Dual Credit Courses in the spring semester must attend!

Gr. 12 NCRC Testing Thursday, November 16 – The NCRC is the National Career Readiness Certificate Test issued by ACT (nationalcareerreadiness.org).  The test is composed of three WorkKeys Assessments that measure skills that are critical to on-the-job success.  The areas are: Applied Mathematics, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents.  Four certificate levels can be earned (Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze) depending on how testers do on all three WorkKeys Assessments.  This test is given by the SD Department of Labor and is used by employers to place and promote workers around SD and other states.  This is a great test to have on file as you graduate and enter the workforce.  Students will start testing at 10:00 am and will finish around 1:30.  Please bring your charged and updated computer, a pencil and a calculator. Practice tests will be handed out during English.

Aberdeen, S.D. – On Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 the Northern State University Admissions office will be hosting a Howling Trivia Night for high school juniors and seniors in the area. The event will be from 7-9pm in the Student Center on the Northern Campus.

All high school juniors and seniors are welcome, and teams of 4-5 students can RSVP their team list to wolvestrivia@gmail.com up until noon on the 16th. Free pizza and drinks will be available, and prizes will be awarded to the top teams. Trivia question categories include pop culture, sports, music, history, movies, and Aberdeen.
